If the gig company that you partner with has decided to offer direct deposit, you can set up your payouts to be automatically deposited into an external account of your choosing.
Setting up direct deposit
After logging into the Checkr Pay wallet, from the click on the "More" tab in the top right of the screen, and then click "Manage Payout Methods".
Once there you can select the setup direct deposit button. After selecting set up direct deposit you will be taken to a screen with an option to set up via Plaid (recommended) or to link your bank account manually.
Once direct deposit is set up the "Manage Payout Methods" screen will change and the "Active" box will be present in the "Direct Deposit" option.
Once you have set up direct deposit, you will in the "Manage Payout Methods" tab to re-enable payouts to your Checkr Pay card. If you wish to change the account that your direct deposit is sent to, you will need to first re-enable your Checkr Pay card and then follow the flow to sign up for direct deposit, linking the new account through Paid (recommended) or entering the new account manually on the account set-up page.
Limitations of Direct Deposit
Not all gig companies utilizing Checkr Pay have elected to offer direct deposit. If the gig company you partner with has not elected to offer direct deposit you will not have these options available to you.
Direct deposit uses standard ACH withdrawal timelines so the funds will not be available in your external account for 2-3 business days after the gig company issues you a payout. You can see any pending direct deposit payouts on the transactions section of the Home tab by scrolling to the bottom of the page.
